As quoted by Damon himself “My preparation for a musical performance is like that of an athlete preparing for a game. In this world of social media and image, too much emphasis is placed on building the muscles we can see and not enough emphasis is placed on the smaller, more important muscles that we can’t see. In this class you will focus on movement and mobility, and the important role that is being played by those small muscles." -Damon

What is River to River Chair Yoga?
River to River Chair Yoga began as a way to keep the senior populations on the extreme East and West sides of Harlem, healthy and fit as our in-person classes came to a halt. It has since evolved into a strong community of elders who realize the importance of movement and community.
What can you expect?
Breath Work
Bringing focus to each area of the body for flexibility, strength and coordination. We will be seated for the most part with some standing work for balance, stamina and endurance. Come enjoy the experience. You’re worth it!
